Huntsmiths Detailing is now a proud installer of Modesta Coatings.

Modesta have been at the pinnacle of automotive protective coatings for years. Their incredibly stringent standards and network of installers has grown to include more UK installers and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of that network.

Modesta is a brand based out of Japan that offer the highest standards in chemical properties and coating performance. Modesta unlike all other mainstream brands do not sell to the general public and are very particular about who is allowed to use and install their products. This is down to a quality and exclusivity requirement needed to be able to install these coatings correctly.

Modesta make all of their own coatings and chemicals in house at their own mixing and research laboratory in Japan.

With certain coating manufacturers promising an “infinite warranty”, “9H, 10H hardness” and such promises in the hope of luring you in, Modesta simply leave their products to do the talking and rely on the results and performance to walk the walk rather than talk the talk.

It can be a bit of a minefield when choosing a Ceramic or Glass or Quartz coating. We would be happy to show you exactly how Modesta measures up against these brands and coatings if you want to pop to us for a coffee and a free appraisal we would be able to show you so that you can see it for yourself.

Due to the complex application method and Infrared curing stages not everyone has the ability to install these coatings. They are very specialist but the reason for this is that they offer in return a much higher durability and a more impressive level of performance.
